About Stefan Niedzialkowski

Stefan Niedzialkowski - Guest Artist Beginning with a diverse training under the tutelage of Henryk Tomaszewski, Mr. Niedzialkowski emerged as principal actor in the esteemed Wroclawski Teatr Pantomimy, Wroclaw, Poland, where he performed for twelve years. In 1975, the Warsaw Mime Theater was formed with Mr. Niedzialkowski as Co-Director. The company toured Europe and the United States earning international acclaim and elevating the art of mime theatre to new levels. In 1979, Mr. Niedzialkowski moved to New York City, and during his fourteen year residence there, three different companies - Mimedance Theatre, Sculptures in Movement, and Theatre Milchenye would enlighten audiences with a unique and powerful artistic vision on numerous stages - Lincoln Center, Symphony Space, Harold Clurman Theatre in New York, including Detroit, Ann Arbor, Philadelphia, France, Holland and Belgium. From 1980-89, Mr. Niedzialkowski was Guest Master Teacher in Corporeal Mime at Marcel Marceau's L'Ecole Internationale de Mimodrame de Paris. He has taught master classes in Europe, the United States, and Asia from the beginning of his career to the present. In 1993 - 2001, Mr. Niedzialkowski moved to Warsaw, Poland and became Artistic Director of both Studio Mimow at the Teatr na Woli and the Warsaw Mime Theatre at the Zydowski Theater.
