Gregg Goldston

Like a magnet, the finesse and artistry of mime Gregg Goldston attracted students to his early mime classes at Brushworks Gallery in Salt Lake city, Utah, in 1977. Goldston is considered the mime's mime, a talent unparalleled in the United States with his introduction into the performing arts. Beautiful lines and an elegance on stage, a wonderful sense of humor, and a keen eye for constructing mime works in the classical tradition launched a career spanning 25 years. Nick Johnson was among the early performers who trained with Goldston, and eventually they began a school and a company with Johnson as his partner, friend and career associate. Like the roots of a tree that has flowered into full bloom, the association continues. Slice and Dice.
